Stillwalk turns the photographs you already have into a short walkthrough — one continuous move through the property, in the order a guest would actually walk it. No photographer, no shoot, no night taken off the market.

How it works

The floor plan comes first, not the footage.

Most photo-to-video tools shuffle stills and add a zoom. This one starts by working out where the rooms actually are, so the camera moves through a building that exists rather than a slideshow that doesn't.

    Your photos get placed

    Each photograph is pinned to a position and viewing direction on a plan of the property. Rooms that no photo covers stay out of the tour.

    The route is drawn

    The camera path follows real doorways and sightlines. It never passes through a wall, and it never climbs a staircase — at a staircase the tour cuts, because a stair is where invention starts.

    Every move is measured

    Each clip is checked against the photographs it came from, for drift and for camera shake. Clips that fail are rendered again, not smoothed over.

The part that actually takes the work

Nothing is invented between your photographs.

A generated camera move is free to imagine what sits between two frames — a door that isn't there, a sofa that was never bought, a kitchen in a flat that hasn't got one. That is the failure mode of this technology, and preventing it is the entire job.

Every clip starts and ends on a real photograph of your property. What happens in between is constrained to what those two frames already show, and checked afterwards against them. A guest who books what they saw finds what they booked.

Your photos are the fixed points. Only the travel is computed.

Every clip begins on one of your photographs and ends on another. The seconds in between are generated — and that stretch is where every tool of this kind either keeps its footing or starts inventing.

Both ends are pinned to something real, so the move can only be as wrong as its middle. That middle is measured against the two photographs afterwards — for drift in structure, for shifted colour, for a camera that wandered. A clip that fails is rendered again, not smoothed over.

The rule that does the work

If the next room cannot be seen, the camera does not go there.

Before anything is generated, every doorway in the property is settled one way or the other: is the next room visible through it on the photograph, or not? That single question decides whether the camera travels or the film cuts.

No photograph shows what lies beyond that door. A generated move would have to make the bedroom up — so the tour cuts instead and resumes on a real photograph inside.
